New Castle County, DE

New Castle County experienced a 11.4% decrease in the number of sold homes for the second month of 2024 compared to 2023 and a 6.6% increase in the median sales price from $305,000 to $325,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the 2nd month of 2024 decreased 20.3% from 2023.

 

Kent County, DE

For the 2nd month of 2024, Kent County experienced a 9.9% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2023 and an 11.5% increase in the median sales price from $300,000 to $334,500. The number of homes that went under contract in the second month of 2024 decreased 13.8% from 2022.

 

Sussex County, DE

For the second month of 2024, Sussex County experienced a 2.7% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2023 and a 5.9% decrease in the median sales price from $457,098 to $430,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the 2nd month of 2024 decreased 29.9% from 2023.

 

Southern Chester County, PA

Southern Chester County experienced an 11.0% decrease in the number of sold homes for the second month of 2024 compared to 2023 and a 13.1% increase in the median sales price from $497,500 to $562,760. The number of homes that went under contract in the 2nd month of 2024 decreased 20.5% from 2023.

 

Cecil County, MD

For the 2nd month of 2024, Cecil County experienced 7.1% increase in the number of sold homes compared to 2023 and a 4.3% increase in the median sales price from $326,000 to $340,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the second month of 2024 increased 4.1% from 2023.
